Den of Wolves is a co-op heist FPS from the creator of PAYDAY: The Heist, PAYDAY 2 and GTFO. In this techno-thriller you and your friends operate as criminals for hire in the conflicts between rival corporations in Midway City. Gather your crew, design the plan, gear up and execute the heist.

Level Designer, Mission Designer & Level Artist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating mission logic using Blueprints

  • Working rapidly and efficiently to create a large amount of content for players to enjoy

  • Using software to create 2D layouts which eventually gets translated into 3D environments

  • Main responsibility of creating the playable spaces using a level creation tool made in-house. Building spaces with different environments in mind, the majority of the content will then be used to build layouts using procedural generation. Most of the spaces are currently being built by me

  • Creates levels using a combination of procedural generation tools and custom created spaces for special gameplay/narrative scenarios

  • Designing gameplay flow, pace, scenarios, puzzle elements and enemy encounters

  • Working with balancing of levels together with the Delivery Team (QA) to create the best experience

  • Translating narrative in the best way possible through environmental storytelling and gameplay

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and working closely with artists to align regarding visual aspects of the levels/missions

  • Seek out feedback from the level design team, level design director, delivery team to ensure improvements by analyzing their criticism and comments
